When life is feeling like a struggle and you’re lacking direction, individual counselling can be an excellent source of help. I help many people around the Mid-North Coast to resolve their anger management issues, improve communication, work through trauma, reduce anxiety, and to find life direction again. Please reach out to see if I’m the best therapist for your needs.
Depression & Anxiety
Depression and anxiety are two of the most common reasons people seek counselling with me. The conditions bring up very uncomfortable emotions that we have difficulty dealing with, and many people experience these at some point in their lives. Through counselling, I can help you recover motivation, perspective, and direction in life.
Life
Direction
It’s very common to go through periods in life where you feel stuck and can’t see the wood for the trees. Counselling can help you to reflect on where you’re at right now and see with clarity the path you want to take. It really helps to be guided through your thought process by a skilled counsellor.
Men's Counselling
As a male counsellor, I naturally have a deep understanding and empathy for the kinds of challenges that come up for Men specifically.
I can help you with Anger Management, difficulties communicating, help you cope with strong emotions, resolve relationship problems and help you with many other Men’s mental health issues.
Trauma &
PTSD
Many individuals experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post-traumatic events. I can work with you to help you resolve, stabilise or overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process towards healing.
Grief
& Loss
Everybody grieves in their own unique way. I’ll help you to find your own path to cope with loss and overcome the pain. Loss can be deeply felt when a person dies, but can also be felt through unexpected life events or major changes that knock you off balance.
Online Counselling
Through the recent years of Covid restrictions, my clients have found that video counselling can be just as powerful as in-person counselling. We can link up through Zoom video calls from the comfort of your own home at a time that is convenient for you.
